How Jackson Came into My Life

Meet my dog Jackson! Jackson is a 2-year-old lab mix and a rescue pup. His story began on the side of a highway where he and his sister were found without their mom. Thankfully, the Victoria Humane Society stepped in and brought the two little pups to a wonderful foster family. At around 3 months old, Jackson (or Scuba, as he was originally named) was ready to find his forever home.

Love at First Sight

I'm an active paddleboarder and had been looking for a furry companion. One day, I stumbled upon a Facebook post featuring Scuba, the water pup. Reading that he was obsessed with swimming felt like a sign from the universe. Eager to meet him, I jumped on a ferry on a sunny Sunday in August to pick up my best friend in Victoria. It was love at first sight!

Life with Jackson

Fast forward to today, and Jackson has truly become an integral part of my life. We enjoy paddleboarding together, where his love for water shines every time. He's also incredibly sociable, making friends wherever he goes. Jackson's transition from Scuba to Jackson was smooth, and his playful demeanor remains ever-present.

The Joy of Rescue

Rescuing Jackson not only gave him a second chance but also enriched my life in ways I couldn't have imagined.
